Petoskey, MI (PRWEB) March 11, 2011

More and more, parents are beginning to look past the dim jar-lined shelves to the bright-colored rows of fresh produce for their baby’s nutrition. A task that used to appear daunting to stay-at-home and working moms alike is becoming increasingly popular. As the focus shifts back to family, buying local and cooking fresh, parents are taking a closer look at those first foods, both how they are prepared and how they are served. Safety and sustainability are important, but cost, functionality and style shouldn’t be left behind.

As a follow-up to its line of products and books that help parents and caregivers easily prepare their own baby food, navigate through toddler dining and create healthy eating habits for life, Fresh Baby introduces a new line to proudly and safely serve every fresh-prepared meal and snack.

Homemade with Love offers stylish, functional, safe and sustainable serving ware that meets the needs of today’s progressive parent. The So Easy Baby Bowl and So Easy Divided Dish not only provides portability to the foods prepared at home, but also are great for storage and serving.

Both the bowl and dish are spill-proof with airtight lids, keeping food fresh, while helping to maintain the desired temperature for longer periods of time. Not only do they meet the needs of parent and baby, but the fun design is stylish and makes a statement, showing everyone that you are proud to be making your baby’s meals.

The inner bowl (or dish) is constructed of safe, durable 18/8 Stainless Steel, protecting food from potentially hazardous chemicals that can be in plastics. The outer body is made of non-toxic polypropylene and is free of BPA, phthalates, lead and plasticizers. This unique, double construction is designed to allow for separation when washing, while also keeping hot foods hot and cold foods cold longer than traditional plastic containers. Both feature a spill-proof, airtight lid and are dishwasher and freezer safe.

The solid construction of the So Easy Baby Bowl and Divided Dish make for a durable product. From pureed peas to lunch box treats, these are the only dishes you will ever need to buy.

About Fresh Baby:

Since 2002, Fresh Baby has been helping parents foster their children’s healthy eating habits and proactively respond to the childhood obesity epidemic that plagues our nation. Founded on the belief that all parents want to raise healthy children, but can lack the tools, skills, and knowledge needed to be effective, Fresh Baby puts a modern twist on the conventional wisdom that when you make it yourself, you know it’s better. From writing easy-to-follow, tasty recipes for using fresh ingredients, to recommending simple activities that build good eating habits, to answering all the questions and eliminating the guesswork, Fresh Baby has thought of it all. Fresh Baby has been honored with an iParenting Media Award, praised by Stanford University Nutritionists, and cited as a “Hot Business for 2004″ by Entrepreneur Magazine for their work in the obesity market.

East Meadow, NY (PRWEB) May 1, 2009

Twenty-five years ago, mothers didn’t have many work/family options. They either chose to stay at home with their children or go to work and leave them for eight hours or more each day. The ‘Mommy Wars” began as each group of moms defended their choice.

It was in that time and place that one mom decided there was a third option: Working at home. Georganne Fiumara started Mothers’ Home Business Network so that other moms could learn that it really was possible to work and raise their children under one roof. Her mission continues today on http://www.HomeWorkingMom.com.

“Today’s young moms are so much more sophisticated than they were back in 1984,” says Fiumara. “Mothers who are armed with the right information are becoming virtual assistants, affiliate marketers, content writers, digital photographers, and web site designers. The opportunities are endless.”

To celebrate their twenty-fifth anniversary on Mother’s Day, Mothers’ Home Business Network’s ebook, “Work-At-Home Job Finder For Moms” has just been updated and is available for free on their web site, http://www.HomeWorkingMom.com.

“It is important that moms be informed about all of their opportunities and possibilities for working online and learn how to avoid scams and misleading opportunities,” Fiumara explains. “We created this free guide to provide on-target information and preapproved resources.

I am a stay at home mom of 2. and my husband works all sorts of crazy hours at his job. We live about ten hours from any friends and family so Im pretty much alone here as far as any help with the children (family babysitters and such). I am trying to get into professional outdoor portrait photography. It just takes so long when you cant put it at the top of your priority list. I guess I am looking for an online group of people that are in similar situations. For support, advice and so on…If anyone out there knows of any such place..Please let me know.

Question by : Feminists, what is wrong with?
This is a legitimate question, what is so wrong with being a housewife? I have seen a lot lately signs and pictures on the web showing vintage pictures (from around the 50’s era) that have captions saying “f*ck this fifties housewife bullsh*t”. I know those pictures are probably beloved by women who feel superior to men. Which is fine, the more power to them. However, have you (if you are a feminist) ever tried to do the work of a housewife? It’s actually pretty hard work, and very satisfying at the end of the day. You see, I am a “housewife” or a more acceptable term, “stay-at-home mom”. I have also been out on the work force, working in factories and distribution centers and I would honestly say, the work of a housewife is a lot harder, and a lot more satisfying. Working in a factory is hard work but for what, a supervisor pushing you harder and harder and a few measly dollars a week? Now, I ask you: Have you ever tried, cleaning, cooking, laundry, babysitting, organizing, and having a smile on your face at all time, everyday? And why would you put women down who do that work?

This is more for a extreme feminist to answer. I am curious about their opinions. ha ha, I’m not asking a man sweetheart. True, house work would be considered irrelevant to most, but so is customer service reps (their jobs can be handled by a machine) “handymen” (most people are too lazy to learn, and fix things themselves)STNA’s (which RNs can do their job but they are there to do bitch work) factory workers (once again can be handled by a machine). I suppose you could hire a maid to do your dirty work around the house, which would just add to the fact that you are too lazy to clean your own house or do your own laundry. AND are spending (wasting) money paying someone to do work you yourself should do.
Thomas, extreme feminist was the source of what I saw. There was a blog from a woman who recently read an article from a home economics book (from 1953) that said “How to be a Good Housewife”. It said things like, have dinner prepared (which I have a infant son he is on a schedule so dinner is prepared at 6:00p.m. every night) Not that hard, some things were unreasonable, like taking off your husbands shoes for him (I’m pretty sure he can do that himself) but the women writing the blog made her own version like, have husband prepare dinner while I sip on a cocktail. 1. I wouldn’t trust my fiancee around a stove ha ha 2. that just seems lazy to not contribute to anything.
well, probably not extreme feminist but defiantly sounded like a women who thought she didn’t have to contribute to housework.
You’re right olds cool. I grew up in Unicorn Valley, next to Fairly Dust Hills, in the Magic Daisy Castle with birds singing songs and fawns dressing me daily. I actually had a ball gown entirely made from diamonds, pearl dust, and mermaid hair.

Best answer:

Answer by Jack Danger
If you want to be a housewife, that’s fine. I just don’t think you should consider yourself as important as a doctor, lawyer or someone who is out there working, contributing to society.

Stay-at-home mothers have been trying for centuries to debunk the claim that what they do is not work, and I second everything they've said. The constant vigilance, the endless mundane chores punctuated by moments of terror – the project of coaxing …
In the study, part-time work constituted anything from one to 32 hours of work a week. The results found mothers who worked part-time were "just as involved in their child's school as stay-at-home moms," and more involved than moms who worked full time …

Question by Designer Girl: Im rootin for the Dugger family!?
Its about time someone raised their kids with great morals & a stay at home mom. Back in the old days (50′s and earlier) there was no TV, no PC’s, & moms stayed home, and kids were way better behaved than they are now. Drugs were not brought home, kids were tucked into bed by mom or dad not some sitter, and divorces were waaaayyyy less. Mom’s aren’t home to wipe their babies from a fall or bad day at school, parents don’t care if their daughters date at 14, parents don’t care if their kids watch PG-13 & R rated movies, parents don’t care if their kids watch Will & Grace, parents don’t care if they watch Baywatch where it sends messages to your girls that if you don’t have DD boobs and less is more to attract guys then why not, instead of being yourself, watching ‘Friends’ to see who goes to bed with who, and all those other ‘girlfriend’ shows where they all bed hop from one boyfriend to the other, and parents who let their kids dress like street walkers………I say the Duggers are right on, and its about time!! All of you with young kids that say ‘fooey’ to this, well, wait till they get in highschool and say ‘mom Im pregnant’. I have 3 kids and I thank God they are moral and good. I didn’t have all the rules the Duggers have (they could go to dances if it was chaperoned, but not private parties), and were raised in a good Christian home with no drinking, drugs, fighting, and the like. We are a normal family and raised our kids to put God first and we also were very strick on what TV they watched. It worked, and they are productive good happily married moral adults with great jobs. I do want to note that I know some mom’s have to work because of no husband, or a husband that is laid off or injured. Mom’s who have a husband who provides to where the mom does not have to work but does anyway, causes her to have a babysitter thats with them more hours than she is, is missing out big time on her childrens lives and activities, and can’t be home “every time” they are sick. Your kids don’t have a mom, they have a babysitter or day care that is raising them. In my book, if you are home by 5pm Mon-Fri, your sitter is raising your kids, your not. Your a part time parent, the sitter is the full timer (almost).
